WHAT ARE ECONOMIC RIGHTS?

Author is entitled to economic use of their work, as well as the work created by adaptation of their work, whereas the author is entitled to compensation for each exploitation of the author's work by any other person, if not determined otherwise by law or by agreement.

Property rights are: the right to record or copy the work; the right to market copies of the work; the right to lease copies of the work; the right to lend copies of a computer program; performance right; presentation right; the right to transfer performance or representation; broadcasting right; the right to disclose the work in public, including interactive availability of the work to public; the right to adaptation, arrangements and other alternations; the right to disclose the broadcast work in public; the right to disclose the work from sound or picture record in public; the right to access copy of the work; droit de suite; the right to forbid exposing original copy of an art work; author’s priority right to alter copy of architectural work and the author's right to special compensation.
